Supply Chain Administrator

Based: Roodepoort, Gauteng

We are seeking a detail-orientated Supply Chain Administrator to join our team. This role requires excellent computer skills and a “make-it-happen” work ethic to manage and provide support in the day-to-day activities and requirements of the supply chain department. Logistics/ supply chain operational experience will be advantageous.

What you must have to apply:

• Grade 12 with an Administrative or relevant qualification
• A combination of qualifications and work experience will be considered
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Administrative/ Clerical position
• Logistics/ supply chain operational experience will be a plus
• Must have experience working in commercial or industrialised environment
• Excellent computer skills (MS Packages with intermediate level on excel)
• Pleasant personality, driven individual with a “make-it-happen” work ethic
• Be able to interact and communicate effectively on all levels
• South African Citizenship, Clear Criminal Record, Valid Driver’s License *please note that candidates will be subjected to relevant screening processes in line with the functions and risks contained within the position

Some of what you will be doing:

• Provide support and best practices within the Supply Chain Management
• Internal and external client support and liaison
• Manage and provide support in the day-to-day activities and requirements of the supply chain department
• Assist with placing Purchase Orders according to the purchasing schedule
• Manage/monitor the procurement cycle from order phase until delivery as per order requirements
• Organise, monitor and follow up on all logistics and report to the Supply Chain Manager
• Document control in line with ISO 9001 standards of all supply chain processes
• All other general administration duties and responsibilities as is applicable to the position.
