We are seeking an energetic and professional Receptionist with a positive attitude to manage our front desk, switchboard and perform other routine administrative tasks. This role requires a friendly personality, “make-it-happen” work ethic and excellent customer service skills. Our receptionist will be able to multi-task in a dynamic environment and streamline and manage most office operations. The role will require a unique, approachable and well-presented person to be the first point of contact with internal and external clients and immediately carry the energy of our Company into all interactions. Our Receptionist will form part of our team where we don’t just work, but play and have fun whenever we can!

What you must have to apply:

  • Grade 12 with an Administrative or relevant qualification
  • A combination of qualifications and work experience will be considered
  • A minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience in an administrative position/office environment
  • Specific experience in managing a switchboard and enquiry Inbox
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages, emphasis on Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills
  • Customer service and active listening skills
  • Attentive to detail and norms of office working
  • Pleasant personality, driven individual with a “make-it-happen” work ethic
  • Be able to interact and communicate effectively on all levels
  • South African Citizenship, Clear Criminal Record, Valid Driver’s License *please note that candidates will be subjected to relevant screening processes in line with the functions and risks contained within the position

Some of what you will be doing:

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner and relay messages and information where required
  • Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, answer any questions visitors have and/or direct visitors as arranged
  • Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner, in line with the Clean Desk policy
  • Maintain and manage standard office equipment on a regular basis
  • Order and control stock of office consumables and stationery
  • Keep detailed and accurate records
  • Receive deliveries and attend to incoming mail
  • Assist with creditors and fuel cards
  • Provide general administrative assistance to all departments
