Position:

C & I Engineer (Solar PV)

Based: Roodepoort, Gauteng

Our Control and Instrumentation engineers are responsible for the design, development and commissioning of systems used to control and monitor commercial and industrial PV and BESS systems. They are also required to compile engineering studies, and design documentation for new systems as well as assess the operation of existing systems. They will work closely with the project engineers to understand the unique requirements, challenges and limitations for each project, and shall factor this information in to the control design. During the implementation of the control systems it will also be required of them to configure PV and BESS systems based on the designed plant operation. The C&I Engineer will form part of our team where we don’t just work, but play and have fun whenever we can!

Junior C & I Engineer (Solar PV)

Our Junior Control and Instrumentation engineers are responsible for aiding the C&I engineers in the design, development and commissioning of systems used to control and monitor commercial and industrial PV and BESS systems, as well as taking on their own projects. They will work closely with the project engineers as well as C&I engineers to learn understand the systems, unique requirements, challenges and limitations for each project, and shall factor this information in to the control design. They are also required to conduct research to help progress software development, as well as engineering reports required by the C&I engineers. The Junior C&I Engineer will form part of our team where we don’t just work, but play and have fun whenever we can!

Position:

Electrician/O&M Technician (Solar PV)

Based: Cape Town, Western Cape

Our Electrician will be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical controls, wiring and any other related Electrical components. Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customers’ needs and expectations; connects panels to the power grid. Follows building standards and codes when doing quality assurance, fault-finding and commissioning installations. In addition, our electrician will be providing technical support to the O&M Team on Solar PV plants.  You will not have routine and probably no day will be the same, and you will “like it like that!”.  Our Electrician will be happy to do multiple things at once and interact with clients, fellow employees and everyone on your path that day.  You will be required to work at heights, but also as low as your chair for system monitoring.  You will be required to be an avid problem solver and solution finder.  You will have support but will be required to work and complete tasks on your own mostly – accountability and responsibility.  Our Electrician will form part of our team where we don’t just work, but play and have fun whenever we can.

Junior Construction Manager (Solar PV)

Based: Cape Town, Western Cape

As Junior Construction Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated, dynamic people at the forefront of the renewable energy sector.  You will like getting your hands dirty and come rain or shine, ensure projects are executed efficiently from start to finish. Working closely with your team to ensure deadlines are met and milestones achieved will leave a pleasant smile on your, sometimes dusty, face.  Construction schedule, project manager, planned, budget, sub-contractor schedules, cashflow, timelines, quality, health and safety are words so intwined in you, that it is what you mutter when you sleep at night! We will trust you to function and have a high level of responsibility and accountability in a hybrid work environment.  All this whilst enjoying some good coffee in the office where we don’t just work hard, but play hard whenever we can!
