We are seeking a motivated and goal-driven individual for an administrative position in our company. Our Administrator will be responsible for, among other things, managing the office as well as some project-related activities, some reception duties, administrative duties and communicating to the team. Our Administrator will report to the Regional Manager. You will also work closely with the projects team. Our Administrator must possess effective communications skills, collaboration skills and report-writing skills. Your daily mission is to help the office and project team meet quality standards and deliver on time and within budget. You’ll also be learning the ins and outs of the solar PV construction process. Our Administrator will form part of our team where we don’t just work, but play and have fun whenever we can!

What You Must Have to Apply:

  • Administration related qualification or experience
  • Project or Office Management courses will be beneficial
  • Combination of academic background and work experience will be considered
  • Experience with Microsoft word, excel, outlook is a must [MS Projects will be advantageous]
  • Having worked in a technical, industrialised or commercial environment will be an added plus
  • Pleasant personality, driven individual with a “make-it-happen” work ethic
  • South African Citizenship, Clear Criminal Record, Valid Driver’s License *please note that candidates will be subjected to relevant screening processes in line with the functions and risks contained within the position

Some of What You Will be Doing:

  • Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supporting staff.
  • Maintains office services by organising office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, and other clerical functions.
  • Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents, including office correspondence, memos, eMails, reports and presentations.
  • Procurement assistance with placing of orders, tracking and processing deliveries of stock
  • Coordinating the setup of meetings and management the Agenda/Minutes
  • Act as point of contact for the office team and facilitate communications
  • Engaging with stakeholders to track down documentation and other deliverables
  • Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Assistance in attending to client queries and redirecting to relevant person
  • Adhoc support and administrative assistance as may be required from day to day
